Aim of the workshop: the participants learn to structure their written application in industry or in the public service outside of science in a meaningful way and to develop it well in terms of content. Participants will learn to present their own knowledge, skills and competencies in a way that is visible and understandable to the recipients of the application.

– How are job advertisements read correctly?
– What do recruiters expect?
– How should an application be structured?
– Which documents belong to an application?
– Clarification of one’s own competencies, search for suitable examples.
– Written presentation of competencies – so recipients can understand them and perceive suitability for the job.
– The application photo
– The application portfolio: cover letter, resume and other contents – explained step by step
– Naming and developing salary expectations
– Typical mistakes and how to avoid them.
