Title: Directed evolution to advance biocatalysis for chemical applications Duration: 2 hours
Content: Discussing the power of enzymes and their limitations and how the adaption of the natural evolution in the laboratory can help overcoming these initial drawbacks. The students will get a sound understanding of the directed evolution and its developments and will get insights into the successful applications of this technique. Also examples from our laboratory will be presented.
