Python is considered an easy language to learn because it has a clear and concise syntax. The language has an open, community-based development model supported by the non-profit Python Software Foundation. It also has an extensive standard library and numerous packages in the Python Package Index such as Numpy, Pandas, SciPy and Matplotlib.

This training is designed for participants of the Graduiertenkolleg who want to get a solid introduction to the Python programming language. In addition, participants will gain insight into data analysis and Data Science with Python.

Seminar objectives:
– Introduction to efficient working with Python
– Familiarity with basic Python programming techniques
– Insight into data analysis, preparation and visualisation of data
– Python and Data Science (scikit-learn)
