Workshop: “How we deal with stress and conflict“
Supervisor: Prof. Dr. Rebecca Waldecker
Event Date: 29.11.2023, 8:30 am – 11 am
Venue: R 1.16 (VSP 1)
How do you define stress?
When does it occur and how do you experience it?
When and how do you experience conflict?
What are your current strategies for coping?
In this workshop, we share what stress (internal and external) means to us. We discuss coping mechanisms as well as ways to identify sources of stress, hopefully with the possibility to eliminate some of them. Often, stress is caused by conflict (internal or with other people), which is why we go into detail here as well. We discuss possible sources of conflicts, how we can understand them better, and how we can maybe spot conflicts before they even come to life. Ultimately, if we have to deal with stress and conflicts, how do we do it?
Please feel free to prepare by collecting specific examples from your own experience. Of course, you decide how much you share, and everything is confidential.
