Today, another round of the Children’s University took place at the University of Halle. Students from various schools were our guests. After an introductory lecture on the world of polymers by BEAM speaker Prof. Dariush Hinderberger, they were able to conduct their own experiments in several small groups. These included experiments with climbing water, rockets with effervescent tablets, paper flowers, and lava lamps.
A nitrogen rocket, launched by our doctoral researchers Sebastian Michler and Annika Blum, provided the grand finale.
